Boundless Learning - Co-Teaching Online Professional Development
Leading, Implementing and Sustaining Effective Co-Teaching with Fidelity is a Challenge!
Hiring a consultant to conduct a co-teaching workshop is often hit and miss, not providing sustainable impact. Having educators read a book provides lots of good information, but it's rarely engaging and doesn’t lead to effective and sustainable implementation.
Excent’s Boundless Learning Co-Teaching Fellows Program provides professional development for principals, and general and special educators to execute a sustainable co-teaching process with fidelity. Developed and managed by Johns Hopkins University Center for Technology in Education, Boundless Learning leverages their 15+ years of co-teaching professional development experience.

Designed to be practical, on-demand and inclusive of an educator’s learning community, Boundless Learning offers professional development without taking the teachers out of the classroom. Boundless Learning produces high performance co-teaching teams utilizing three interlocking dynamics: operation protocols: effective team principles: and productivity/collaboration technology.
BENEFITS
-
Effective Co-Teaching loosens up room in self-contained classrooms, which allows for non-public placement students to come back to the district for services, saving a lot of money.
-
Boundless Learning builds district capacity to increase the least restrictive environment (LRE) for students, positively impacting compliance and reporting.
-
AYP for students with disabilities is directly affected by effective co-teaching.
-
Co-Teaching done with fidelity facilitates deployment of better behavior management models, reducing disruptions and increasing accountability performance around disciplinary actions.
Boundless Learning is competency-based professional development giving educators the knowledge, skills, and confidence they need to implement co-teaching effectively. The Boundless Learning experience shows them how to transform their classrooms and schools into communities of learners that collaborate, share resources, and strive for maximum achievement for all students.
